Much of Singapore's reclaimed land is eventually sold to investors, but the process of reclamation can take up to a year. Out team from SLA and JTC came together and decided to do something to change the situation. The idea of customising shore protection was something nobody would have thought of, but our research showed that this was feasible and effective. We pushed ahead, and as a result, land is made available within a much shorter time. Challenging the status quo can sometimes yield unexpected results. - BE THE CHANGE
