ACE your way to professional and personal excellence

Find your next training course at http://intranet.psd.gov.sg/
ace
.

The next time you want to find out about training programmes, you won't have to scour the Web. All you need to do is visit ACE (your gAteway to exCEllence) on the Government Intranet at http://intranet.psd.gov.sg/ace.

Launched in June 2005, ACE is a database of training courses recommended by civil servants for civil servants. It will help you to make informed choices for your learning roadmap.

ACE is easy to navigate and its functions are intuitive and simple to use.

All civil servants can access ACE. The website allows you to search for courses, recommend courses, and rate and provide feedback
on courses.

The database currently has a modest selection of over 200
highly recommended courses available at various training institutions. The list expands with every recommendation of a good course from you!

Built with all civil servants in mind, ACE is easy to navigate and its functions are intuitive and simple to use.

The Public Service Division (PSD), which developed ACE, wants the database to be the first thought that comes to civil servants’ minds whenever they need inspiration for identifying good courses for professional as well as personal development.

PSD is already looking into ways for PRAISE (a ranking and appraisal system used by all ministries) to get a slice of ACE’s pie — by allowing PRAISE users to update their learning roadmaps with courses from ACE.

A WIT PROJECT WITH SERVICE-WIDE BENEFITS
ACE started out as a WIT project by a team from the Public Service Division. The team noted that there was no single website for civil servants to locate good, recommended training courses and wanted to provide a one-stop database of good courses to develop civil servants' skills and competencies.
