The info-portal
of the Public Service Centre for Organisational
Excellence (PSCOE) now sports a new, rejuvenated
look!
PSCOE was reconfigured in 2003 to comprise an Organisational
Excellence (OE) Unit and a new Innovation Unit.
As a result, the old PSCOE website and The Innovation
Store (www.theinnovationstore.gov.sg) were combined.
This led to the creation of the revamped PSCOE website,
which was launched on 12 April 2004.
The new website has a completely new layout. There
are more graphics and the website is more user-friendly
and interactive. As surfers explore, they will find
useful information on OE and innovation in the form
of articles, case studies, book reviews, presentation
slides, forum discussions and more.
In the past, to enrol for events, participants had
to email or fax the registration forms to PSCOE.
Now the new website enables participants to register
online. To ensure a smooth transition to online
registration, fax and email registration will still
be accepted. Information on upcoming events will
continue to be posted on the portal.
In our bid to present the best and most updated
knowledge and methodologies to the Public Service,
the portal will continue to introduce new experts
in OE and innovation.
You can check out the online forums to share your
view on various
OE and innovation issues such as entrepreneurship,
knowledge management, the Singapore Quality Award,
Balanced Scorecard, and strategy formulation and
implementation.
It is hoped that through the virtual knowledge sharing
sessions, public officers would discover more new
insights and thus spearhead their respective organisations
to the top echelons of total organisational excellence.
And don’t be surprised if you see some of
our subject matter experts and academics sharing
their scholarly insights.
The Resources section contains useful reading materials
and hyperlinks for members and nonmembers. Resources
have been beefed up and recategorised for easy reference.
Toolkits is a new section on the portal. It contains
tools which allow individuals and organisations
to identify, assess or improve in areas
such as creativity and innovation, skills and competencies,
and mindsets and attitudes.
In the Gallery section, you can explore a virtual
world of creative ideas and original insights, and
be inspired by many innovations.
Now, do you want to be kept informed of PSCOE’s
latest happenings? If you do, simply subscribe to
our alerts after you register as a member of our
website, and you will receive an email every time
a new resource, event, newsletter or forum post
is added. It’s that easy, so do it today! |
