Cleaning high-rise buildings

Their innovation may be marketed in Shanghai soon.
The High-Rise Building External Wall/Glass Cleaning Machine is a remote-controlled machine designed to be mounted onto a gondola. It comes with a high-pressure
water jet and brushing and vacuum suctioning capabilities for cleaning the facade of buildings.

The use of the automated machine will eliminate the dangers that workers who operate the gondola face.

The idea came from Mr Ben Lau, Director of Efficiency Cleaning Services Pte Ltd, who approached Singapore Polytechnic to develop the machine for his company three years ago.
