Robotic band

The Jukebox Robotic Band has played at the Istana and the Civil Service College.

Singapore Polytechnic’s robotic ensemble features two keyboards, a guitar, a harmonica, a complete drum kit and a digital saxophone.

Each robot is the result of a fusion of electronics, air pneumatic pistons, tubing, air compressors, computers and musical technology. Users can select from 45 songs upon inserting a dollar coin.

The SP students hope to expand the band or even form an orchestra in future!
