By promoting the Innoventure Culture, the Singapore
Civil Defence Force (SCDF) aims to nurture officers
who are creative in expression and innovative in
thinking.

a monitor to facilitate more accurate
observations of a crisis situation.

InnoventureLAND,
SCDF’s innovation centre, was set up in May
2002 towards this end. It is the perfect venue for
staff to hold informal discussions. Officers can
find tools that stimulate creative thinking, posters
that describe new concepts, as well as award-winning

the centre is InnoventureSPACE - a virtual environment
that inspires ideas and promotes learning by showcasing
